Mangusta blends performance, comfort, and Italian craftsmanship. In the 1990s, the Mangusta 80 created the “Maxi Open” category, proving large open yachts could be fast and liveable.
History
Founded in 1985 by the Balducci family in Viareggio, Italy, Mangusta Yachts takes its name from the mongoose—an emblem of speed, resilience, and a winning spirit.

Located in Tuscany near Massa, Viareggio, and Pisa, Mangusta’s production sites cover approximately 210,000 square metres.

    The Viareggio shipyard builds Mangusta’s iconic Maxi Open yachts and also houses the brand’s headquarters, design and technical teams, a quay with expert captains, and 24/7 after-sales support.
  • pisa
    Mangusta’s Pisa plant, near Pisa’s airport, is dedicated to metalworking for the Oceano and GranSport lines. Covering 44,000 square meters, it can build multiple megayachts up to 70 meters and includes a showroom and technical department.
  • massa
    The Massa plant specializes in forming and rolling for large composite yachts, upholding top standards in quality, technology, engineering, and production capacity.
