Anchor at the main harbor of Dapia and enjoy the local taverns and restaurants. Try one of the delicious taverns in the harbor serving freshly grilled fish among other appetizing dishes.
If you happen to visit Spetses in September, don’t miss the Armata Festival that celebrates the anniversary of the Naval Battle which took place on September 1822. Note that the festival takes place on Saturday during the second half of September.
Sports enthusiasts can enjoy the thrilling annual events, the Spetsathlon in April (Greece’s largest triathlon) and the Spetses Mini Marathon in October, where thousands of participants take part in running and swimming races.
Nice to know:
Spetses is a car-free island and among the first islands to draw tourists worldwide, primarily due to Poseidonion Hotel, one of the first fully organized hotels which opened its doors in 1914.
DAY 2
Spetses > Poros (~28NM)
Poros is the ideal destination for watersports and activities such as swimming; visit the beaches at Mikro Neorio and Megalo Neorio, as well as the one at Limanaki tis Agapis (meaning ‘The Cove of Love’). Go diving in the crystal clear waters and sail through the nearby islands and off the coast of the Peloponnese. You can also explore the inland; go biking and hiking through Poros’ pinewoods.
The island’s hills are covered with pinewoods, extending seamlessly to sandy beaches. The Poros Strait, and the seaside area of Galata with its pine, olive, and lemon groves surround the picturesque Poros town, where beautiful neoclassical buildings grace the seafront; it’s a place of great beauty!
Nice to Know:
The beauty of Poros has been praised by popular poets and prose writers, such as Georgios Seferis, Ioulia Dragoumi and the American author Henry Miller.
DAY 3
Poros > Korfos (~26NM)
Korfos is a small port town situated on the coast of Sofiko Bay, surrounded by olive groves, with its densely planted slopes extending toward the sea. Nestled in a bay, sheltered from strong winds and large waves, Korfos features a beach with crystal-clear waters, gradually deepening, and a sandy coastline. This idyllic setting is perfect for divers of all ages, including younger children. Korfos truly gives the impression of an island seamlessly integrated into the mainland.

The peninsula is home to approximately 32 volcanoes. Climbing to the largest crater is a truly challenging experience. Begin your journey from Kameni Hora and follow a 25-minute path to reach the lip of the volcano. Step on solid red lava flows and take in views of a different world featuring savage black, red and green crags and sharp abysses.
Lastly, immerse yourself in the unique atmosphere of the island’s volcanic beaches, including Nissaki Agion Anargiron, Limnionas, and Vathy.
Nice to Know:
The peninsula of Methana with its two steep volcanic slopes is actually a volcano that emerged from the sea.
The establishment of the spa complex in 1870 made it a popular spa town attracting mainly senior citizens from many European countries.
DAY 5
Vathi > Aegina (~14NM)
Despite its small size, the Aegina island boasts numerous attractions and natural beauties. The highlight of the island is the renowned Aphea Temple, forming an equilateral triangle with the Parthenon and the Temple of Poseidon at Sounion, known as the “holy triangle” of antiquity. It follows a semicircle building pattern around the harbor, where small fishing and tourist boats, as well as cruise ships, dock, especially during the summer months. The grand stone-built residences of Hydra rise like fortresses against the rocky landscape, adding to the town’s grandeur.
